Nothing here
was made for
anyone else.

Mr. Dan1els Inc. is a bespoke lifestyle house. Suiting and outerwear cut to your measure, footwear built on your own last, fedoras blocked to your head, a small-batch cigar line, and 1984 Bourbon aged in char-three oak.

The House

A single standard,
held across five crafts.

We began in 1984 with one cutting table and a rule that has not moved since: nothing leaves the house unless it was made for the person who ordered it. That rule now governs five disciplines — cloth, leather, felt, leaf, and oak.

Every commission begins in the salon and ends in your hands. There is no warehouse, no stock, no season. There is only the order in front of us.

The Five Houses

Cloth, leather, felt, leaf, and oak — each held to the same line.

The Craft

Fit is not a measurement. It is a hundred small decisions made in your favour.

— The Cutting Room, Mr. Dan1els Inc.

Full floating canvas. Hand-padded lapels. Sleeves set by hand so the shoulder follows you rather than holding you. A basted first fitting, then two more, then the finish.

The Commission

Four steps, unhurried.

01

The Salon

Ninety minutes with a client director. Posture, profile, habits, and what the garment is actually for.

02

The Pattern

A paper pattern drafted for you and kept on file. Every subsequent commission begins from it.

03

The Fittings

A basted skeleton, then a forward fitting, then the finish. We adjust until there is nothing left to adjust.

04

The Delivery

Pressed, boxed, and delivered by hand where we can. Aftercare and alterations are ours for life.

1984 Bourbon

Aged the way
a suit is cut —
slowly.

Small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon, laid down in char-three American oak and left in the upper ricks until the wood has said everything it has to say.

The Salon

An evening, not an errand.

Fittings are held after hours in a room with low light, good chairs, and a decanter within reach. Bring whoever you like. There is no hurry, and there is no one else booked behind you.

Paramus, New Jersey — and by request, New York City.

Reserve the room

A private lounge with oxblood leather club chairs, walnut panelling and a brass table set with a decanter.
